03/12/2020 - WE ARE OPEN - how wonderful it feels to be open again, come along and say hello to the small businesses at Old Bolsover Yard.

31/10/2020 - Due to COVID-19 restrictions, Workshops and Demonstrations will be unavailable from 5th November until further notice. However, products on the Online Store are still available for Christmas presents and can be posted, delivered or collected.

25/07/2020 - Workshops - Following advise from Environmental Health, workshops can now commence, see the Ropemaking Workshops page for further information. However, with the present situation there will only be 3 candidates per Workshop.

19/07/2020 - A socially distanced demonstration for some members of Bolsover Rotary, thank you for your interest.

20/06/2020 saw the start of many Ropemaking Demonstrations at Old Bolsover Yard. The weather was wonderful to us and while people are still unsure about leaving their homes, due to COVID-19, a few came out to see us and for this we applaud you, thank you.

I will be there for the foreseeable future, mostly on Saturdays, but at other events held in the yard and on days where I will be running Workshops, so please pop along to see me.
